Optical emission spectroscopy (OES) is widely used in plasma assisted process for in-situ process diagnostics and monitoring.   A complete OES system can be capable of resolving three components of plasma variability: spectral resolution (i.e., chemical resolution), temporal resolution, and spatial resolution.
